“From Abundant Resources to Sustainable Educational Transformation”

Today transformative opportunities for education, ranging from new educational practices within disciplines to large-scale national crusades, abound through a growing global inventory of openly available educational tools and resources.  This presentation will illustrate some of the dimensions of significant educational transformation that we are beginning to glimpse. It will address technical and organizational forces that influence the progress of this movement and the readiness of current institutions.   It will also examine how we can advance towards a vision characterized by a sustainable ecology of transformative educational opportunities.
