Flexibility and Choice in the Age of Service Oriented Architecture
Call for Participation/Demonstrators
OpeniWorld will feature showcase presentations demonstrating the state of the art of Service Oriented Architecture and related standards to solve real world educational technology problems. Successful candidates for inclusion should exhibit flexibility and choice through SOA and utilize appropriate openly published standards or specifications.
The format this year will be through 20 minutes presentations, providing presenters the opportunity to fully demonstrate solututions, ideas or works in progress to the largest possible audience.
Commercial demonstrators are encouraged to co-present with an educational customer for whom the SOA based solution demonstated provides value.
Proposals are due by 31 March, and should include the following information:
* Title
* Name and contact information of primary coordinator, including
organization
* Name and contact information for other presenters
* List of organizations, projects or products to be demonstrated
* Descriptive Paragraph (150 words or less, making clear how this
demonstrator will showcase the state of the art of SOA)
* Interoperability standards or specifications used
* Detailed description
